This is a new edited and annotated version of the memoir of Yang Ke-huang (1895-1978), the comrade and lover of Hsieh Hsueh-hung (1901-1970), a Taiwanese Communist leader. The original book was published in 2005. Yang reminisced how he met Hsieh in 1929 and embarked on a journey with her to realize their socialistic ideals in Taiwan. He gave details of their encounters and major activities for nearly 20 years. The book ends with their action following the 228 incident in 1947. It provides a way for readers to comprehend the history of Taiwanese left-wing personages in recent Taiwanese history.
