Book Launch Event for Huang Ching-shun's "Recollections of My Life"
黃清舜《一生的回憶》新書發表會

Ching-Shun Huang 黃清舜 (1990-1987), born in Penghu, was graduated from Tainan Normal School. After he completed the required teaching service, he resigned and started his own career. His footsteps even reached Japan and Manchuria. In this memoir, he recounted his life in Manchukuo, the shock of the 228 Incident, and other sceneries and people he had encountered. Thirty years after he passed away, his daughter typed and edited this memoir and had it published by Cultural Affairs Bureau, Penghu County. Hsueh-chi Hsu, Director of Institute of Taiwan History at Academia Sinica, remarked, "Not just a personal memoir, this book shows the histroy of Penghu people's life and their struggle in Taiwan and overseas. Moreover, it's a small but concrete part of Taiwan History,"
