This ongoing series contains the diary of Yeh Sheng-ji (1923-1950), a Taiwanese would-be doctor and white terror victim, during 1938 to 1950. Yeh, born in Tainan, received his education in Taiwan and Japan. When working as a medial intern in 1950, he was arrested and later executed by the Nationalist Government for his involvement with the Communist Party. The diary records the study, life, and thoughts of his student years and before his arrestment. The book includes both the Japanese transcript and Chinese translation.
